Analysis of the loading speed of websites using CSS frameworks

This thesis deals with the loading time of websites developed by CSS frameworks. Thesis also focuses on website optimization and website measuring. The main goal of this thesis is to execute the performance analysis on a websites developed by different CSS frameworks. Finally approach and evaluate which CSS framework is due to the loading time of a website best suited for a particular type of website. The theoretical part explains the concept of CSS framework. In this part are also presented the most popular CSS frameworks. Following part of thesis deals with loading time of websites. There are described optimization possibilities and website measuring. In the practical part is the performance analysis of the loading time of different websites developed by different CSS frameworks. The conclusion of thesis evaluates the results of the analyzes and subsequently are presented recommendations which are based on these results. The recommendations and the analyzes forms main contribution of this thesis and can help to website developers to select a CSS framework for developing websites due to less loading time of a website.

SEO web site optimization

The topic of this thesis is search engine optimization (SEO). This term covers many activities, procedures and techniques. When using SEO you can improve your position in a search engine and narrow it to so called key words. The first part of the theoretical part acquaints readers with the basic facts, statistics and defines the basic terminology. The main objective of the second part is concentrated on the main elements which affect the successes of optimalization. The practical part is dealing with analysis of the optimalized e-shop including its competitors. The changes and recommendations of improvement and development of the e-shop were suggested on the basis of the analysis, the theoretical acquirements and the experience of the author. These changes are gradually implemented in the following part of the thesis. The impact on the attendance and placement in the search engines is reviewed after the realization of the suggested above.

Draw up a theoretical base of SEO optimization and its issues. Than buy a domain, where presentation company website will be created (company is dealing, with distribution of aquarium fish food) and which will be monitored and optimized for search engines. Whole work flow will be listed and appropriate conclusions will be deduced. The aim of this work is an effort to achieve more traffic to web sites and get better position in search engines. The bachelor thesis will include a rival website profiling.

Search engine optimation

Tato práce tvoří ucelený pohled na problematiku optimalizace webových stránek s cílem co nejlepšího umístění ve vyhledávačích. Čtenáři jsou v první části, jako základ pro pochopení celé problematiky, vysvětleny odlišné principy katalogů a vyhledávačů zahrnující aktuální trendy a tržní podíly v České republice a USA. V následující kapitole je rozebrána teorie vyhledávání v dokumentech. Na tu navazuje popis sběru dat, jejich zpracování a následující zobrazení výsledků ve vyhledávači. Díky výše uvedeným kapitolám jsou čtenáři následně popsány techniky, kterých by měl webmaster využívat při tvorbě nových stránek, popřípadě při optimalizaci stránek již existujících. V další části bakalářské práce je vysvětleno, čeho by se měl při optimalizaci webových stránek jejich tvůrce vyvarovat. Tím jsou tzv. neetické metody optimalizace. Rovněž je zmíněn moderní nástroj pro zviditelnění stránek, tzv. služby PPC. Pro lepší přehlednost a využití rozsáhlého teoretického základu je na konci práce popsáno desatero nejzákladnějších faktorů, které je nutno pro základní optimalizaci dodržet.
